NEW RELEASE
Unsolved: The JonBenét Ramsey Murder 25 Years Later
After 27 years, the mystery of who tortured and murdered a six-year-old girl in Boulder, Colorado lingers. Step back into 1996 into a world of beauty pageants and parties, glitz and glamour, and down the basement stairs into a room of barbarity and horror where JonBenét Ramsey fought for the last few breaths of life.
Investigative Reporter Paula Woodward, author of We Have Your Daughter, takes you under the crime scene tape to show you how Boulder Police worked and controlled the investigation –deliberately manipulating evidence and feeding you false information to publicly convict JonBenét’s parents.
It’s no surprise the killer hasn’t been found. Police couldn’t gather enough evidence to press charges, and one-quarter of a century later, the case languishes. The officer in charge of the investigation was demoted in the fall of 2022 for failing to investigate more than 40 other outstanding cases. As part of that demotion, Officer Tom Trujillo is no longer allowed to participate in any Boulder Police investigations, including the Ramsey case. Trujillo was part of the Ramsey investigation since day one - December 26, 1996 - and believes John and Patsy Ramsey murdered their daughter, despite any evidence of it.
Law enforcement spent months digging into the backgrounds of John and Patsy Ramsey. What did they learn? Find out in UNSOLVED. While police were quick to judge and suspect the parents from the beginning because they weren’t “acting right”, now you can read the actual police reports that describe their behaviors and emotions in private and in public.
In UNSOLVED, read new and exclusive interviews with John Ramsey, his wife Jan, and his son, John Andrew, who all speak with brutal candor. Look through new photos and reports from teachers and friends, and read between the lines of the sensationalized headlines to learn about this sweet and innocent girl. Learn what experts think about the evidence and if the killer can be caught. At last, see the evidence for yourself, unfiltered by police, and learn what happened.
UNSOLVED offers rare insight into whether a family member or an intruder viciously murdered JonBenét - a malicious child killer who’s never been caught.

We Have Your Daughter: The Unsolved Murder of JonBenét Ramsey 20 Years Later
Forget everything you think you know about the murder of the six-year-old girl who was tortured and murdered on the day after Christmas in 1996 in Boulder, Colorado.
The title of this book comes from the ransom note left for her dad on the spiral staircase in the home.
Emmy Award-winning Investigative Reporter Paula Woodward has gathered thousands of unpublished records about the Ramsey case. Pouring over the evidence, you can experience JonBenét's mom finding the ransom note, the officers briefly searching the house then hours later asking John Ramsey to take a look – only to have him find his daughter’s body. The documents show how investigators wrote down the wrong facts, lacked experience, and had little oversight. You'll also see how many journalists allowed themselves to be misled, failed to ask reasonable questions, and got caught up in the hype - resulting in a wholescale prejudice against the family and the truth. The killer still walks free.

CASE UPDATES
In 2019, CBS settled two lawsuits against the company brought by JonBenét’s brother Burke Ramsey and her father John Ramsey. The lawsuits were filed in 2016.
Burke and his father sued after CBS and other participants in a four-hour television report in 2016 said Burke killed his sister. The lawsuits against CBS News asked for $900 million. While terms of the settlement are confidential, the parties said the lawsuits were “amicably resolved”.
